Hey Dolls,

As promised, a Car Boot haul!

A friend of mine recently introduced me to the 'art' of Car Boot shopping - and I am now addicted! Prior to the introduction, I had never considered shopping at Car Boot sales nor was I opposed to it. My first experience consisted of a 7am wake up on a Saturday and considering I start work at 7am on weekdays, it was not something I was happy to do but my friend insisted that the early bird catches the worm (or the best garms lol!). When I first got there I must admit I was far from impressed. I did not understand how rooting through someone's rejected clothes could be 'fun shopping'. I was continuously told, 'Dauby, you have to look, you cannot expect to stand there and find what you want' . So I decided to just dive in - literally- and it was amazing!! I purchased 5 designer items for £5 and they did not look used or rejected!

From then on, I knew - shopping would never be the same.

So I went again this morning and purchased the beautiful motel dress I am wearing in the above pictures and the bag also (amongst other things) - all for less than £7 . The dress is perfect for summer/festivals/holiday and I love the colour and fit. To 'dress' it all off, it was sunny today so I got to wear it out.

Anywaaay, definitely check out your local car boot for a testament on how looking good doesn't have to break the bank.

Dauby x

P.s. look out for pictures of my other items
