A Last Minute Gift Guide for Men Ft. House of Fraser

Firstly, a huge Merry Christmas to you all!

I apologise for my long absence. I have been in the process of moving home and had no internet for about three weeks.  Any of you that have gone through it may understand that moving home is stressful but exciting however time always feels as though it is on fast forward. Anyway, all is well now and I feel abit more settled and back into my routine so watch this space.

On top everything else going on, christmas has crept up on me so fast this year. I must admit, I have always been a last minute christmas shopper but I decided to change my ways this year and get everything before the 24th of December ha! All was going so well until it got to the presents for the men in my life. Men are notoriously the hardest people on the planet to buy for. The cliché socks and tie sets have simply outrun their cause after X amount of years of Christmas.

So today, I have put together a Christmas gift guide for men focusing on my favourite 'gifts for him' from the wonderful House of Fraser gift range. This gift guide is to prove to myself and many of the partners, family members, friends out there that options are available and these options do not have to break the bank !

1) Penhaligon's  Gentlemen Fragrance Set

I've got this for a certain someone - won't disclose who. These beautiful miniature fragrances are perfect for men because not only are they classy and smell divine, the product offers diversity in the sense that he has four fragrances to chose from each day. They are also a great addition to any travel bag.
Endymion Cologne, Blenheim Bouquet Eau de Toilette, Sartorial Eau de Toilette and Quercus Cologne.

2) Aveda Hand Relief

Most men think they do not need hand cream, the truth is they do.
Manly hands are attractive but dry/rough hands are not. This is a cheat gift as it's a gift for partners to steal too!!

3) Ted Baker Shoe Shine Kit
A must have in any working mans life, comprising of:

2x  Ted Baker Brushes inscribed 'Looking Buff' and 'Rise & Shine'

1x Ted Baker Black Polish
1x Ted Baker Neutral Polish
1x Cleaning Cloth
Faux-leather brogue style zipped Ted Baker case

4) Howick Multistripe Towelling Robe
The perfect cosy gift for any homebody especially at this time of year.
I love a robe as a gift because it is something everybody needs and loves but something people rarely want to buy hence why , as a gift,  a robe is always a good idea.

So with Christmas only a few sleeps away and many last minute shoppers like myself, this guide is for you and I hope it helps!

 Outfit details:
Cropped jumper- Topshop , Shirt - Topshop (similar here) ,  Wrap Skirt- Topshop (similar here) , High Thigh Boots - eBay (similar here also) , Camel Coat - eBay (similar here)

Ahh, the camel coat makes it's way into aw14 top trends for what seems like the second year running.  This makes me glad I invested in one last year as it cost me an arm and a leg - looking back, it was so worth it. Warm, fashionable and adjustable, the camel coat (wool especially) goes with everything.
My styling today was very clueless which is a look I have been told I most replicate. I didn't notice this but it makes me happy.

Get the look

A.M - P.M

Hey lovelies,
hope you've all had a good week and are looking forward to an even better weekend.
One of my first ever posts was a work to bar haul. I decided to revisit that in this week's post showcasing my favourite recent items from the lovely Boohoo, ASOS and NEXT.

I recently purchased a new camera lens of which I am still trying to get a hang of so bare with me :)

So I have recently been crushing on one of my favourite bloggers - Gemma Talbot - and her blog 'What's In Her Wardrobe' and I saw this pinstripe cape in one of her recent posts. I immediately went on Boohoo to purchase one of my own (bloggers steal other bloggers styles too!). So thank you Gemma for bringing this wonderful, necessary yet unusual creation to mine and a lot of other people's attention and thank you Boohoo for selling it :)

Green is my favourite and go to colour for AW14 so these trousers by ASOS were a winner and are perfect for work and play. Coupled with ASOS's strap disco top (which appears to be highly sensitive to light) makes this outfit a winner for both A.M and P.M shenanigans.

And of course, the outfit wouldn't be complete without some comfortable yet super stylish and in trend mules by the wonderful NEXT and a leopard print bag for beautiful print mismatch.
Sigrid Pinstripe Cape Blazer- Boohoo , Strappy Crop Top in stretch Fabric - ASOS,  Skinny Crop Trousers - ASOS, Snakeprint Mules - NEXT , Leopard Print clutch - Primark (similar here)

C L A S S I C - M O D

Outfit details:
Cropped jumper- Topshop , Shirt - Topshop (similar here) ,  Black Joni Jeans - Topshop, Boots ( TK Max /last season (similar here))

As the lover of all things fashion and quirky, I am quite embarrassed to admit, I visited Camden for the first time only a couple of weeks ago. It quick become one of my favourite places.
I picked up some bits including this faux Classic Mod Skin Harrington Jacket for a bargain price of £20! It is very different to my usual attire however, this year I planned to expand my coat/jacket range because a good outerwear is like the first page of any great novel. Paired with some some high waisted skinny jeans, a shirt/cropped jumper combo and some leather boots for a real 60s feel.

An Emerald Fur....

Outfit details:
Draped  wraparound blouse- H&M , Grey Jeans - H&M (similar here) ,  Katy Longpile  Faux Fur Scarf - Boohoo, Heels ( Topshop/unavailable)

I had been searching for so long for a faux fur scarf/stole and was so close to purchasing one for a ridiculous price. Then I came across this by Boohoo. Absolute perfection. The colour is to die for and size/style was everything I was looking for. I wanted something unique and quite vintage looking and this ticked all the boxes! I was slightly bored of the neutral coloured scarves/stoles going around so I was extremely delighted to find such a colour!

Thank you Boohoo!

Outfit: Top Taupe - Missguided , Palazzo wide leg trousers - Missguided ,  Leopard Print Bag - Primark, Heels (although not quite visible) - Topshop

I am so happy to be the proud owner of these gorgeous Taniyah Paisley Print Palazzo Trousers.

I never thought I could pull off wide leg trousers as I am quite short, however, these fit just perfectly. The fact they are high waisted also increases their love factor. My collection of trousers/jeans are quite samey tbh (skinny or boyfriend fitting) so some diversity was much needed. An absolute wardrobe revive.

Paired with another favourite of mine by Missguided, the Magdelan Faux Suede Cut Out Top Taupe, this outfit was perfect for my weekend get away to the beautiful city that is Bath - staying at the breathtaking Combe Grove Manor Hotel.

Have an amazing week lovelies !!
