TEVA - 30 Year Anniversary

Soo, I was fortunate enough to be invited to the Press Launch for Teva's 'Original Collection' which celebrates their 30th Anniversary of making their iconic 'sport sandal silhouette'.

The Background:
Teva sandals came to life on the Colorado River in 1984 after a Grand Canyon river guide changed outdoor footwear forever by adding an ankle strap to his rafting flip flops inventing the first sport sandal.

The collection consists of two styles, the Original and the Original Universal.  The Original composes of a flip flop with an ankle strap combo whilst the Original Universal has a more renowned style with the adjustable double straps.

The sandals come in a range of colours and patterns catering to the adventure enthusiast as well as Fashionistas that have adopted the outdoor/sports luxe style.

Although inspired by adventure and the great outdoors, Teva is set to take the Fashion world by storm as the simplistic yet practical silhouette is adopted by the likes of Prada and Givency.

The press launch was set in a beautiful roof top hotel in London. Besides being spoilt for choice on breakfast and the breathtaking views, I was lucky enough to be the proud owner of my first Original Teva Sandals.  I say my first as it won't be my last as I am looking to purchase the Teva Original Universal's too.  They are incredibly comfortable and I am super excited to test them out on my holiday to Croatia in June.

Cool Mint

Pastel colours are a must-have for SS14! IMO, the ultimate it-pastel-colour is Mint. The ever so cool and understated Mint adding a breath of fresh air to any wardrobe since forever.

So this was a spur of the moment post,  I didn't really plan to post this shoot but I wanted to show off these super narley linen trousers I purchased from Primark for £13. I've said it before and I will say it again, Primark are doing really well for staying on trend this SS14 and of course, the prices are a bonus.

Sunnies - eBay • Jacket - ASOS  Ribbed Crop Top - Topshop  Body Chain - eBay   Shoes - Charity Shop (£2.50!!)

You & Me

I am feeling myself just a little in this post. Just a little I said :).

Bag - Primark - purchased a long time ago sorry
Choker - Topshop - I am loving the choker trend at the moment, it adds a dash of grunge to almost any outfit.

Sunnies and Jumper - Both by Pull&Bear but sold on ASOS. I have to admit, I am a bit of a Pull&Bear newbie but boy do I wish I discovered them sooner ---my bank account doesn't!!

Camel Coat - This has been featured before in my 'Camel Coat CĂ©lfie' blogpost so make sure you check it out. Although it's spring, the weather is still pretty chilly so the coat was a necessary but fitting addition to the outfit.

Shorts (Levis) - purchased from Lou Lou's vintage fair for about £10. I love the fit and the colour of them and the fact they were only £10!!. Definitely my go to summer shorts. Find out more about Lou Lou's Vintage Fair here

Now I should have dedicated a whole blog post to these '

Rebecca Knee High Perspex Heel Gladiator' by Boohoo, they are that gorgeous. They are so daring and feisty, and I love daring and feisty. I also kinda feel like cinderella with the glass slipper, except these will be slightly harder to lose... £30 well spent i'd say.

Hope you've all had a lovely short week :)
