First of all let me just tell you how much of a bother I have had trying to get this post out to you guys. So it was meant to go out on Tuesday but the 'many faced gods' must have been against me, because, one of my other upcoming posts randomly duplicated and deleted the original to this post and there was no way in hell I could get the original post back. So here I am, re-writing this post although the first was so perfect and I am still feeling very sad....

Anyway without dwelling too much on my mishap, I bring to you a few beautiful snapshots from Primark's AW15 Press day. I say a few but there are quite many and there could have been a load more because the day was truly amazing. The collection was a dream and I wanted to purchase everything I saw there and then. It even got to the point of me harassing the beautiful people of Primark with questions on the exact date some of the items will be in stores and which stores and if they could call me to tell me the the collection had landed (iJoke).....

BUT everything about the AW15 collection is perfection (collection, perfection!)

I know Primark is known for their affordable fashion which doesn't usually coincide with great quality but,  I kid you not, the quality and the style of the items could rival some of the more high end high street brands.

So this was my first press day for such a huge company and I am so honoured to have been invited and so so glad I attended. I felt a little nervous at the start because I attended alone, I didn't know anyone else there and everybody else seemed to have attended with someone or knew people there. However, everybody was so friendly and the atmosphere was so chilled out and accommodating. The one too many Prosecco's may have helped the nerves a little too.

It is also always such a nice feeling to put a lot of faces to names, be it bloggers or other contacts.

So out of my own experiences, I am offering some tips for bloggers attending their first press day / a press day alone....

  • Smile - We all know that when you smile the world smiles back at you.  Extremely cheesy yet true to a certain extent. Smiling helps a lot because not only does it lift your spirits but it make you more approachable because quite frankly, no one likes a moody face.
  • Network - not only with fellow bloggers or those affiliated with the brand, but with as many people as you can. You never know how many people doing amazing things are in attendance and who you could meet. I met so many lovely people that weren't necessary bloggers or weren't connected with Primark but their line of work was still relevant to myself as a blogger and I felt really inspired talking to them.
  • Engage - now I know it is extremely daunting going to a new place on your own, especially as a baby blogger were there will most likely be bloggers that are well advanced in the bloggersphere, but, don't be afraid to reach out and talk to people.  If I stuck to myself, I probably wouldn't have met my beautiful new blogger friend @fayelienn, who also came on her own and who made the day even more enjoyable (like it could be already).  I also wouldn't have met @LAW1sFAB (founder of FBloggers UK) and whose name is so fitting because she is SO FAB. So it really is worth putting yourself out there because you never know who is in the same boat. Even if you do not attend on your own, still make the effort to immerse yourself in the experience.
  • Lastly, Be yourself, Be grateful and ENJOY IT! You're blogging lucky

P.s I have recently joined Facebook.. so if you lovelies could give the page a look and if you like what you see, like what you see *wink*
