Ace the Races with PrettyLittleThing

I know, I know - it feels a little early to be talking summer looks but there is nothing wrong with being a little fashion forward. Besides, I always find that I leave outfits for occasions such as this to the last minute then I start panic buying which usually means I spend a lot of money on something I will most likely wear once.
So when PrettyLittleThing.com reached out and asked me to pick and showcase outfits from their  race day range, I was excited but also very nervous. Nervous because it's freezing and dark in England and I really didn't think I could depict summer when in such conditions but thank God for the one day of sunshine we just had. Come rain or sunshine I said yes because I wanted to get my hands on some items in the range.
I chose these three, originally four (including a jumpsuit) which I've also linked at the end but the sizing was too big for me so I had to send it back. I wanted a mixed bag of styles because I don't believe there is one set look for race day. I know everyone usually opts for glam / formal but I truly believe most things can work with the right accessories. ALSO, in the spirit of sustainable fashion I wanted items that are transformable - I love that these dresses aren't so formal that they couldn't be worn more than once or dressed up or down.

Outfit 3: https://www.prettylittlething.com/white-thick-lace-high-neck-binding-detail-skater-dress.html True to size, can also go up in size as the bust area has no give.
Other outfit loved - https://www.prettylittlething.com/mint-drape-one-shoulder-jumpsuit.html Fit overall too big for me.

Femme Luxe Refinery

If I may be honest when Femme Luxe contacted me to choose some items I took one look at the page and thought, this isn't really my style. I wasn't sure on the quality of items and I didn't want to simply accept clothing only to then give away or never wear the items again. However, I must say I was pleasantly surprised when these two pieces arrived. The quality of the dress, in particular, is so good and it fits so well that it accentuates the right curves making these cozys also great for nine to wine nights.
I took both items on my recent trip to Iceland as I wanted to be warm and fashionable and I was also double pleased with the material - not flimsy at all. I can positively say these items invoke some joy and if Marie Kondo was in front of me I'd still definitely choose to keep them.

If you're thinking of ordering from the site, order your usual size as everything fits T2S.
